Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc, who is currently in Bosnia Herzegovina, paid a visit to the grave of Alija Izetbegovic, the first President of Bosnia-Herzegovina, on Thursday.
During his visit in Bosnia Herzegovina, Arinc is accompanied by Anadolu Agency's (AA) Director General Kemal Ozturk and several other officials.
Leaving flowers on Izetbegovic's grave, Arinc stressed that Izetbegovic was a great leader.
"He was the leader of his people. Especially during the war time he showed such success and solidity," said Arinc.
Lastly, he noted that for the independence of Bosnia Herzegovina, he tried hard and added, "With his thinking, ideas and books, he fought for the independence of this region and people of Bosnia."
