Turkish Deputy PM Besir Atalay met United States' Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
In an official visit in the US, Atalay attended the meeting of the think tank Middle East Institute.
Atalay also met US Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Lisa Monaco.
Atalay said they discussed the issues of cooperation in counter terrorism.
