MOSCOW
Deputy Speaker of Turkish Parliament Meral Aksener held meetings with First Vice-Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Alexander Troshin, and deputy of the State Duma Ivan Melnikov in Moscow on Monday.
The meetings were closed to press.
Aksener said that during her meeting with Troshin, they agreed to boost relations between the parliaments of the two country and increase the mutual visits.
We also discussed how Turkish Parliament can contribute in developing mutual investments, she added.
Noting that Russian officials invited Turkish businessmen to visit Russia's different regions, Aksener said that Russian officials called on Turkish businessmen to invest in those different regions.
Aksener also said that they discussed to set up a joint parliamentary committee regarding energy security and transmission.
