A Turkish court remanded four PKK/KCK terror suspects, including a deputy mayor of an Istanbul district, according to judicial sources Wednesday.

Seventeen suspects arrested for alleged links to the PKK/KCK terror group were referred to a court in Istanbul, said the source who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

The judge remanded four suspects, including Cihan Yavuz, deputy mayor of the Sisli district in Istanbul, for being members of an armed terror organization. Nine were released after issuing statements.

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants Nov. 26 for 25 suspects who acted on behalf of the PKK/KCK in Istanbul.

Anti-terror police arrested 19 suspects in simultaneous operations. Two suspects were released on judicial control provisions.
