The military killed 23 PKK terrorists during counter-terror operations in southeast Turkey on Tuesday, the Turkish General Staff said.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, 14 terrorists were killed in Nusaybin, Mardin province; five in Sirnak province; and four in Yuksekova, Hakkari province.
Weapons were also seized during the operations, the statement added.
The total number of terrorists killed in the three regions since operations were launched in mid-March is 347.
The PKK - listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU - resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July. Since then, more than 350 members of the security forces have been martyred and thousands of PKK terrorists killed.
