Turkish Airlines opens “Istanbul Lounge Arrival"

ANKARA

The Turkish Airlines opened the “Istanbul Lounge Arrival” service from which the members of “Business Class” and “Elite Plus” would benefit after the foreign flights.   

Speaking at the opening ceremony at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, the Turkish Airlines Director General Temel Kotil stated that they broke a new ground in Turkey by “Istanbul Lounge Arrival” with the capacity of 40 people, 6 showers and one ironing room.  

Stating that the passengers landing at the airport after long flights will be able to use new facilities Kotil stated that the main purpose of the lounge will be serving the business people to have shower, shave and their clothes ironed before going to work without going to a hotel

Kotil, referring to 2020 Olympics and candidacy of Istanbul, stated that Istanbul deserves hosting Olympics because it has a cultural background of 7,000 years and it connects two significant continents, Asia and Europe. Kotil also stated that Turkish Airlines is also getting ready for 2020 Olympics.   

Referring to the financial success of Turkish Airlines Kotil stated that Turkish Airlines recorded a 28 percent of growth this year. Still the foreign flights are totally overbooked, said Kotil.
