LISBON (AA) - September 21, 2012 - Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis has defined Turkey as the missing star of EU.
Speaking on the occasion of opening of a Turkish arts event in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, Bagis said that the art was playing a significant role to advertise and understand Turkey better.
"When Turkey becomes a member of the European Union, this star will be sparkling better," said Bagis.
Bagis will continue to hold his official talks in Lisbon on Friday.
Bagis will have a meeting with the Portugal-EU Joint Parliamentary Commission, and later will proceed to Turkey.
