Unemployment in Turkey dropped to 10.6 percent in March from February, the Turkish Statistical Institute reported on Monday.
The unemployment rate lost 0.6 percentage points in March from the previous month.
There were 3.69 million unemployed persons in Turkey in March.
However, the unemployment rate rose 0.9 percentage point from the same month in the previous year.
"Turkish unemployment is still in double digits. It is still a negative factor, despite a slight decline from February," said Adnan Cekcen, financial analyst at Destek Securities.
The number of employed persons was 25.96 million, an increase of 370,000 persons in the period of March 2015 compared with the same period of the previous year.
The employment rate was 45 percent with a 0.1 percentage point decrease.
Labor force participation rate was 50.4 percent, with a 0.5 percentage point increase from the previous year.
