Turkey: Swiss tourist trapped on rocks rescued
68-year-old man climbed rocks in picturesque Faralya area in southwestern resort town of Fethiye
MUGLA, Turkey
Turkish teams on Tuesday rescued a Swiss man who was trapped on the rocks in a popular Turkish resort town.
Peter Andrin Steiner, 68, now on holiday in the southwestern town of Fethiye, was on a walk in the picturesque Faralya area when he decided to climb some rocks, and got stuck.
After he called the 112 emergency hotline, a Turkish Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Team was dispatched to help him.
Successfully rescued, the Swiss tourist is now in good condition, sources said.
