Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas will visit Turkey this weekend.
Palestinian diplomatic sources said on Thursday that Abbas was expected to hold meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu during his two-day stay in Turkey.
The meetings will take place in Istanbul.
Normalization process in Turkish-Israeli relations, reconciliation process in Palestine, recent developments in the Israeli-Palestinian issue as well as US Secretary of State John Kerry's talks in the Middle East will be high on the agenda of the meetings.
