ANKARA

Turkey's Vice President Fuat Oktay on Thursday received a Sudanese delegation which arrived in Ankara on a two-day official visit.

Oktay met with Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, vice president of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, in the presidential complex.

Following the one-on-one meeting, an inter-delegation meeting was held.

It is being attended by Turkey's Agriculture Minister Bekir Pakdemirli, Transport Minister Adil Karaismailoglu and Energy Minister Fatih Donmez.

Sudan's Agriculture Minister Altahir Ismail Muhammed Harbi, Livestock Minister Hafiz Abdel Nabi, Transport Minister Merghani Musa Hamad and Urban Planning Minister Abdallah Yahya Ahmed are representing the Sudanese side.

The vice presidents will hold a joint press conference after the inter-delegation meeting.
