BRUSSELS
High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs, Catherine Ashton said Turkey reserved its rights stemming from international laws after one of its military jets was downed by Syria on Friday.
Speaking to the press following a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg, Ashton said that Turkey was closely reviewing the situation after its military jet was downed by Syria.
Turkey has reserved its rights stemming from international laws. We will continue to be in close contact with Turkey after its jet was downed by Syria, Ashton stressed.
Ashton said that they shared the emotions of the families of the two missing Turkish pilots.
