ANKARA
Turkey has hailed European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD) decision on making Kosovo its 66th member following the voting on November 16, 2012.
In a statement released on Thursday, Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that Turkey was strongly supporting Kosovo on its determination to become member of regional and international organizations.
Praising EBRD's decision on Kosovo, the statement said, "The decision will contribute to Kosovo to make social and economical progresses, and also help with stability in Balkans. Turkey believes that Kosovo's membership to the international organizations will increase in the future," the statement said.
