Turkey, Gabon sign MoUs on cooperation in education
Nations agree to cooperate in higher education, education sector
Turkey and Gabon inked two agreements on Wednesday regarding cooperation in education, according to Turkish authorities.
The head of Turkey’s Council of Higher Education (YOK) Yekta Sarac met Gabonese National Education Minister Patrick Mouguiama-Daouda, along with a delegation, in the Turkish capital of Ankara, YOK said in a statement.
After discussing opportunities for bilateral cooperation, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in higher education, it said.
Mouguiama-Daouda was later hosted by his Turkish counterpart, Ziya Selcuk, and the two inked another MoU on cooperation in education, according to Turkey’s National Education Ministry.
Selcuk voiced pleasure about the meeting and highlighted that bilateral relations between the two countries have gained momentum in recent years.
