ISTANBUL
Four foreign national workers were killed Saturday in a factory fire in Istanbul, Istanbul’s governorship said in a statement.
The fire broke out at a factory that produces textile products and plastic materials in Buyukcekmece district, Istanbul province.
Two injured foreign nationals and four fire officials were referred to the hospital, the statement said.
The fire was extinguished after firefighters intervened.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, the statement added.
