DIYARBAKIR, Turkey
A Dutch journalist, who was detained earlier in the day in southeast Turkey for allegedly spreading propaganda for the terrorist group PKK, was released Tuesday.
Frederike Geerdink was taken to the Diyarbakir police headquarters to make a statement on an order by the Diyarbakir Public Prosecutor's office.
Geerdink was released after recording her statement.
