Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia were determined to develop trilateral cooperation.
Speaking to reporters prior to the tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia in the north-eastern province of Trabzon, Davutoglu said that they were determined to lay the foundation for cooperation among border cities of the three countries.
Trilateral mechanism important for regional peace, stability
Davutoglu stated a trilateral mechanism between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia would make important contribution to stability, peace and prosperity in the Black Sea, Caucasus and the Caspian regions.
"Our trilateral foreign ministers' mechanism will constitute an important step for peace, stability and prosperity in the region," Davutoglu told reporters after the tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia in Turkey's north-eastern province of Trabzon.
