BEIJING
Turkey and China on Monday signed a cooperation agreement for the peaceful use of nuclear energy and a letter of intent for cooperation in nuclear energy.
The agreements were signed under the auspices of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao in Beijing after their tete-a-tete meeting and meeting between respective delegations at the Chinese National Assembly.

''Turkey will hold nuclear power plant negotiations with China'',Turkey's Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız told reporters after signing cooperation agreement for peaceful use of nuclear energy and letter of intent for cooperation in nuclear energy with China in Beijing.
Yildiz said, "we can carry out nuclear power plant negotiations on three separate models with three separate countries," Yildiz told reporters in China.
