At least 17 suspects have been arrested during anti-narcotics operations across Turkey, a police source said on Saturday.
In Edirne province, anti-narcotics units arrested two suspects after receiving a tip-off that suspects would smuggle drugs from River Meric, the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.
More than 93 kilograms of skunk cannabis were confiscated.
Another operation was carried out in northwestern Tekirdag province, which saw seven suspects apprehended, and 15 grams of marijuana and 20 bonsai confiscated.
Additionally, four alleged drug dealers were arrested, while six kilograms of cannabis were seized during an operation in southern Adana province.
