Turkey: 1 soldier martyred, 2 injured in terror attack
PKK roadside bombs planted in Mardin, southeastern Turkey explode as security forces move through area

MARDIN
The PKK on Wednesday martyred one Turkish soldier and injured two through handmade explosives planted on the road in Turkey's southeastern Mardin province, bordering Syria.
The roadside bombs went off as security forces in Mardin's Omerli district were moving through the area.
The wounded soldiers were taken to Omerli state hospital.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of some 40,000 people, including women, children and infants.
