Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali received Turkey's Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz in Tunis on Tuesday.
The meeting took place at Prime Ministry building in Tunis.
Talking to press corps prior to his meeting with Yilmaz, PM Jebali said that he appreciated minister's visit.
"Turkey's every visit is so beneficial for us. We want to take advantage of Turkey's experiences and that is why we are about to sign a strategic cooperation protocol between Turkey and Tunisia," said Jebali.
Meanwhile, Turkish Minister Yilmaz said that Turkey was closely monitoring Tunisia.
"We consider Tunisia's achievement as our own achievement. We believe wholeheartedly that Tunisian government will make the country a developed one very soon," said Yilmaz.
Mentioning that they have been working together on several projects, "Today we are here to sign these projects. The cooperation between Turkey and Tunisia will continue without slowing down," minister said.
Yilmaz also stated that they had been taking concrete steps regarding technical and financial issues, adding that in the light of these steps they were going to sign a cooperation protocol with Tunisian Minister of Investment & International Cooperation Riadh Bettaieb later on Tuesday.
