A Turkish woman who has been taking care of a Russian boy appeared on a talk show in Russia.

Gulsum Kabadayi, who is living in the southern province of Antalya, has been taking care of Russian boy who remained paralyzed after he was hit by a bus in Antalya in 2008.
Kabadayı found the Russian boy when he was 17-years-old, unconscious and undergoing treatment in an Antalya hospital and began nursing him voluntarily.
Later she took him to her house and name him "Umut", meaning "Hope". 
Kabadayi appeared on a Russian talk show and told her story.
Speaking to AA correspondent, Kabadayi said, "After appearing on tv program, I got positive reactions. We showed Turkish mother's compassion to the world. I'm very happy. The world knows Umut's story now. He is getting better day by day. I will keep nursing him till he is ok. I believe he will get over it."  
Kabadayi also said that she hoped his relatives would be found soon.
