WASHINGTON
The Undersecretary of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Feridun Sinirlioglu had talks at the U.S. Department of State in Washington.
In a daily press briefing, the Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, Victoria Nuland, said that Sinirlioglu met the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns on Thursday.
Sinirlioglu and Burns discussed various issues including the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 countries in Baghdad, Nuland said.
The two diplomats also discussed the issue of Syria, Nuland stressed.
