ISTANBUL (AA) - During the environment improvments in Taksim and around continues, a group of men, women and foreigners started their standing still and silent protest at the Taksim Square in Istanbul. 

While some of the protestors look straight at the Ataturk cultural center, others looked in the direction of the Gezi Park on Tuesday.

The first silent protest was carried on Monday evening by performance artist Erdem Gunduz, who stood for hours at Istanbul's central Taksim Square.
