"Sakal-i Serif" makes residents of Ingushetia emotional

NAZRAN

Holy Prophet Muhammad's beard, known commonly as the "Sakal-i Serif", was presented to Russian Federation's Ingushetia Autonomous Republic as a gift by a Turkish community after it was obtained from Madina.

The beard was displayed at former capital Nazran's Central Mosque on Friday.
Those who saw the beard were in tears as they got very emotional.
Sakal-i Serif, the beard, was said to have been shaved from Muhammad's face after death.
