Bozdag's remarks came after French magazine Charlie Hebdo's publication of cartoons of the Holy Prophet Muhammed.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency correspondent on Thursday, Bozdag stated that it was a mistake to consider religious assaults in western and other countries as freedom of expression.
"Thought and expression of thought are estimable, however, there is a need for a separation between what is thought and what is not. It is not possible to accept swearing and outrage as thoughts
around the world, but in some countries several imprudent people, who are unable to generate ideas, are swearing. The movie in U.S., the cartoons in France and the poster, which has not been
broadcast yet in Germany, are provocation," Bozdag said.
