Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Monday received Botswana's Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Phandu Tombola Chaka Skelemani and an accompanying delegation at the Cankaya Presidential Palace in Ankara.
According to the web site of the Turkish Presidency, President Gul conveyed Turkey's desire to boost relations with Botswana, a country model to African democracies in democracy, rule of law and development.
Minister Skelemani told President Gul that they watched with admiration Turkey's success in the economic field and wanted to further develop relations with Turkey.
