Parliamentary Assembly of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) President Wolfgang Grossruck said regarding Taksim Gezi Park protests that they closely followed the incidents, and added that they supported the right to gather peacefully as well as freedom of expression.
Speaking at the 22nd general assembly meeting of OSCEPA in Istanbul, Grossruck said that OSCE connected national parliaments, and stressed the importance of establishing friendly and constructive cooperations.
Grossruck thanked Turkish parliamentarians for hosting Syrian people.
Noting that they would not only discuss recent developments in Middle East, Grossruck said that they would not limit the meeting with only the capital cities of OSCE region, adding that they would expand cooperation with Eurasia and Mediterranean too.
