One of two police officers who were injured in an armed attack in eastern province of Van on Monday died.

Unidentified person or persons staged armed attack on a police post in the province, injuring two police officers. Injured policemen were hospitalized immediately, but one of them died in the hospital. An operation in under way in the region.
