The number of vehicles which are registered in traffic in Turkey increased 8.1 percent in November 2012 when compared to November 2011.
It also rose 6.5 percent when compared to October 2012, said TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, on Thursday.
Total number of motor vehicles registered to the traffic became 16,979,606 by the end of November 2012, while cars had a share of 50.7 percent, followed by small trucks with 16.4 percent, motorcycles with 15.7 percent, tractors with 8.9 percent, trucks with 4.4 percent, minibuses with 2.3 percent, buses with 1.4 percent, and special purpose vehicles with 0.2 percent.
In November 2012, 91,960 motor vehicles were registered to the traffic.
Cars took the first place with 57.3 percent, followed by small trucks with 17.8 percent, motorcycles with 13.1 percent, and tractors with 5.4 percent.
In November 2012, the number of motor vehicles registered to the traffic increased 8.1 percent when compared to November 2011. Cars, minibuses, buses, trucks and motorcycles increased 14.1 percent, 3.1 percent, 15.4 percent, 6.8 percent and 15.4 percent respectively, while small trucks, special purpose vehicles and tractors decreased 8.3 percent, 34.8 percent and 3.6 percent.
