Nine PKK terrorists killed in eastern Turkey
Several weapons were seized in army operations in Sirnak, Mardin provinces

ANKARA
Nine PKK terrorists have been killed in security operations in eastern Turkey's Mardin and Sirnak provinces Sunday, Turkish military said Monday.
In a statement, the Turkish General Staff said seven PKK terrorists were killed in southeastern Mardin province’s Nusaybin district.
Two PKK terrorists were killed in a separate operation in the southeastern Sirnak province.
Several weapons were seized during the operations, the statement added.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July 2015. Since then, more than 430 security personnel have been martyred and more than 3,800 PKK terrorists killed.
