A mortar shell fired during clashes at Syria's Babel Hawa Border Gate on Saturday landed in an empty land in Turkey's southern town of Reyhanli.
The mortar shell landed near a construction site of the Turkish Housing Administration (TOKI). All Turkish workers at the construction site left the area after the mortar shell landed.
Sources told the Anadolu Agency (AA) that fierce clashes were taking place between Assad forces and the Free Syrian Army at the Babel Hawa Border Gate. Sounds of clashes could be heard in Reyhanli town.
Meanwhile two more Syrian mortar shells landed in Reyhanli, sources said. The mortar shells were discovered in Ogulpinar and Bukulmez villages.
