More than 125 kg of heroin seized in eastern Turkey
Police hunt is underway to nab suspects
Turkish security forces on Friday seized some 128 kilograms (282 pounds) of heroin in the eastern Van province, local police said.
Acting on a tip off, police carried out operation along the highway between Karagunduz and Ilikaynak neighbors.
The contraband was seized in 125 packages hidden in a headwall near the highway.
The police hunt is underway to nab the suspects.
