ANKARA (AA) - July 31, 2012 - Turkey's Middle East Technical University (METU) and Istanbul Technical University (ITU) were ranked among the best 500 universities of the world by the Webometrics World Universities Ranking in Spain.
METU and ITU were listed among the best 500 universities in Webometrics' ranking for the month of July.
Webometrics's ranking was made after 20,000 universities were studied.
METU ranked 275th while ITU ranked 499th in Webometrics' ranking.
164 Turkish universities are included in the general list of universities.
