Members of WHO, UNICEF, UNHCR visit Syrians in Turkey

World Health Organization's (WHO) Turkey Office and a delegation of UN visited the Osmaniye Reception Center on Friday where Syrian citizens stay.

Members of WHO, UNICEF, UNHCR visit Syrians in Turkey

OSMANIYE
Syrians who fled from the heavy attacks in Syria, seek shelter in Turkey.
Group of 10 people from WHO, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and officials from the Turkish Ministry of Health visited the Syrians and had a brief talk with them.
The delegation held a closed-to-press meeting then headed to Governor's Office of Osmaniye and met with Governor Celalettin Cerrah.
Cerrah informed that in the Osmaniye Reception Center, about 8220 Syrians shelter.
WHO Representative in Turkey, Dr. Maria Cristina Profili shared her impressions from her visit and said, "We are aware that this is such a tough period. We congratulate you for all your efforts. Living conditions and the environment affect the human health."
