ANKARA
The Macedonian foreign minister has said Turkey and Macedonia should use their potential to transform the Balkans into an area of prosperity.
"In order to turn our region into a more developed and prosperous area, both Turkey and Macedonia should use the potential in their hands in the best way," said Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki, addressing a group of reporters following his meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Ankara on Tuesday.
Turkish FM: Macedonia's peace is backbone of peace in Balkans
Davutoglu told reporters, Turkey attached great importance to Macedonia's peace and stability for the establishment of a peaceful and stable atmosphere in the Balkans, during appearing at a joint press conference with Poposki.
