Cicek said regarding his talks in Kuwait that despite the excellent relations, there was not enough trade volume, and added that there were significant infrastructural and superstructural investments in Kuwait. He noted that they had discussed the cooperation in military area and it was a fruitful visit.
Having implied that Turkish President Abdullah Gul would visit Kuwait in March, Cicek said such visits would open a new page in the relations with Kuwait which was a key factor in the region and Turkey would have an important gain.
Cicek noted that Kuwait was closely following developments in Turkey as Kuwaiti people had been purchasing real estates substantially in Turkey, and baseless statements especially about domestic politics were tarnishing Turkey's image.
