ANKARA
Kasimpasa made an immediate return to the top flight of Turkish football, the Spor Toto Super League on Sunday.
Kasimpasa joined the Spor Toto Super League with a 3-2 victory over Adanaspor in the Bank Asya League playoff final at 19 Mayis Stadium in Ankara. With this result, Kasimpasa returned to the top flight just a year after being relegated in 2011.
Bank Asya League One winner Akhisar and runner-up Elazigspor had won automatic promotion at the end of the season, while the teams placed third to sixth in the division entered the promotion playoffs.
