ISTANBUL
Turkey's Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yildirim attended a ministers' meeting on the Kars-Tbilisi-Baku Railway in the north-western province of Istanbul.
As part of the meeting, Yildirim came together with Georgian Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Azerbaijani Transportation Minister Ziya Mammadov.
At the end of the meeting, the three ministers signed a protocol to speed up the completion of the Kars-Tbilisi-Baku Railway.
"Our aim is to begin test rides on the railway by the end of 2013," Yildirim stressed.
