ANKARA
Istanbul's third airport contract will be signed on May 20, Monday.
The third airport to be built in Istanbul will be contracted on the 80th foundation anniversary of General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) on May 20 in Ankara.
It will be one of the largest airports in the world with 4 separate terminal buildings and annual capacity of 150 million passengers.
The group led by Limak Holding Corp., a conglomerate with interests ranging from airport operations to construction and tourism, secured the right to run Istanbul's third airport for 25 years after bidding 22.2 billion euro (29.1 billion USD) plus taxes on May 3.
