Istanbul (AA) - Turkey's European Union Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said his hope for the conference, named "The Common Future of Turkey and European Union Against Global Issues", is that it will give acceleration to EU-Turkey relations.
Bagis hosted a dinner for the participants of tomorrow's Istanbul Conference.
Bagis emphasized that Turkey-EU conference was organized for the first time by Turkish EU Ministry.
"We will find an opportunity to discuss Turkey and EU relations," said Bagis.
Hungarian Minister of State for European Affairs Eniko Gyori, Commissioner Responsible for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, Former Foreign Minister of UK Jack Straw, Foreign Minister of Sweden Frank Belfrage, and the Director of the Centre for European Policy Studies Daniel Gros joined the dinner.
