ANKARA
The more steps Iran takes towards peace, stability and friendship in the region, the more pressure it gets from regimes which support terrorism, said Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Ali Reza Bikdeli on Thursday.
Iran's Embassy in Turkish capital Ankara opened a book of condolence to commemorate the victims of the twin bomb attacks which killed 23 people and wounded more than 100 others in targeting the Iranian embassy in Beirut on November 19.
"Iran is one of the targets of terrorism in this region. There are regimes supporting terrorism and they do not want stability in our region,” he said.
He said the book of condolence aimed to create an opportunity for the friends of Iran and countries to express support for Iran and its efforts against terrorism.
