ANKARA
Earlier, it was stated that Ahmadi-Nejad would participate in Seb-i Arus ceremonies in Konya as the guest of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Diplomatic sources said that Ahmadi-Nejad would not be able to attend the ceremonies due to another schedule.
Iranian diplomats also confirmed the cancellation of Iranian president's visit.
Seb-i Arus ceremonies take place every year in order to commemorate Jalal al-Din Rumi in Konya.
