Ankara
INTERPOL's 90th General Assembly meeting in 2021 will be hosted by Turkey, the National Police Directorate said Monday.
The decision was made at the international police body’s 88th General Assembly meeting from Oct. 15-18 in Chile’s capital, Santiago.
The directorate said Turkey received 108 votes in favor of it hosting the meeting and seven against it, “despite all efforts of Greek Cypriots.”
