ANKARA
Industrial production index increased 6.2 percent in September 2012 when compared to September 2011.
TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, said on Thursday that in the sub-sectors level of industry, mining and quarrying index increased 10.8 percent, manufacturing index increased 6.2 percent, and electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply index increased 4.1 percent in September 2012 when compared September 2011.
Calendar adjusted production index in September 2012 increased 6.2 percent when compared to September 2011, and seasonal & calendar adjusted industrial production index increased 3.9 percent when compared to August.
