ANKARA
Houston Rockets couldn't find a suitable deal for Turkish center Omer Asik and backed away from trade discussions, according to Yahoo Sports.
As NBA's trade deadline will end on February 20, the General Manager of the Western Conference powerhouse, the Houston Rockets rejected the trade offer from the Boston Celtics' package for Asik including power forward Brandon Bass and shooting guard Courtney Lee.
Omer Asik wanted a trade shortly after the league's rebound leader Dwight Howard joined the Houston Rockets, when he could not find many playing minutes after the season's eighth game.
