Great demand for Turkish courses

SARAJEVO

The Yunus Emre Turkish Culture Center in Sarajevo establishes "cultural bridges" between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey.

The center in Sarajevo is the first overseas representation of the Yunus Emre Institute which was established to promote Turkish culture, history, language and literature in all corners of the world.
Bosnians visit the Yunus Emre Turkish Culture Center in Sarajevo to learn the Turkish language as well as Turkish culture and arts.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), the Director of the center in Sarajevo, Ceylani Akay stressed that "individuals at times do not have the opportunity to travel to Turkey."
"We try to bring Turkey to the Bosnians through our center and help them experience Turkey," Akay underlined.
"In recent times, many individuals come to our center to learn Turkish after watching Turkish TV series. There are currently no seats left in our Turkish courses at the center," Akay also said.
