A former golf professional has traveled around 52 countries with his trick show, by playing golf with extraordinary golf clubs and tees.
David Edwards, regarded as one of the best golf trick master, has been playing golf since he was very young and performing his show, that attracts not only golf fans but also people who are not interested in golf, for around 14 years.
He has performed his show in 52 countries such as China, US, Ireland, Turkey and also at the deck of QE2 in the bay of St Andrew’s.
He hits 310 balls in just three minutes with his famous Scissor Hands shots.
One of the highlights of his show is where he dispatches a ball from a tee held in the mouth of a volunteer lying on the ground.
Expressing how impressed he was by the culmination of Turkish golf, Edwards says that more and more people were starting to play golf around the world.
“One thing that has amazed me when I came to Turkey is over the years a lot of Russians started to play golf,” says Edwards who is sponsored by Gloria Golf Resort.
Reminding golf would be included next Olympics games in 2016, Edwards notes that there were good training programs for young golf players in Turkey and the future of golf would be very good for golfers owing to the favorable weather of country.
Mentioning the Turkish golf courses’ improvements, Edwards says that if the golf courses were in good condition people want to keep coming back.

“I would like to play the same holes as Tiger Woods” he says.
“When Tiger played from across the bridge in Istanbul, he hit from Asia to Europe which is fantastic and a great publicity for golfing and Turkey,” he adds.
Besides being a professional golf player, Edwards is also teaching and running golf schools, as well as writing for golf magazines including Todays Golf and Golf World.
Impersonation of golfers including Spanish Miguel Angel Jimenez and British Ian Poulter are among his repertoire in the show.
British golf player also says that the best airline to fly with is the Turkish Airlines because “They look after the golfers,” he says. “Some airline companies charge for the golf clubs but Turkish Airlines doesn’t.”
