PARIS
France is willing to "open a new page" in its relations with Turkey.
French Foreign Ministry spokesman Bernard Valero said the meeting between French President Francois Hollande and Turkish President Abdullah Gul during NATO summit showed France's will to revive the relations.
Turkey is an important partner and ally, said Valero, adding that the relations should be stronger in all areas.
Our relations should be based on mutual respect and confidence and dialogue, he said, adding that France also attached importance in Turkey's relations with the EU.
