ANKARA
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on attacks to headquarters of Justice and Development (AK) Party , said, "We won't be discouraged by these attacks. Staying back, stepping back or delaying this peace process are beside the point. We will steadfastly keep going on our path."
Turkey will neither step back nor delay the peace process, Erdogan said on Wednesday during his visit to Denmark.
He stated that the recently designated two executers of the attacks to the headquarters of AK Party and Ministry of Justice, would be caught by Turkish security forces as soon as possible.
Erdogan, relating the attack to Ergenekon incident, said, "My message to my country is to make a claim to this process with the help of all NGOs and media foundations. We will never give up the process and never leave it to some tactless jobbers."
Giving the example of Susurluk case from the past, Erdogan said that the incident of last attacks is similar to Ergenekon. He stated, "Now, there is a strong will of AK Party government and I would like to say that we will steadfastly keep going on our path."
Erdogan, saying that Nowruz is the festival of rejoicing and fun, stated, "I do not speak of a milestone of peace. I say that peace should not be overshadowed. We already have peace in Turkey. We don't have war. The words should be chosen carefully."
